Summary/Abstract: In this article, we are going to approach the presence and the role of the media in the crises between the states, its well-calculated instrumentalization having geostrategic and political stakes of size, because the media machine supports and determines the way of managing the conflicts by the antagonists. It is worth noting that the presence of the media in interstate conflicts is not a new phenomenon. Yet, it has now eminently become a key player in the political scene where it possesses an influential power that is reflected in its ability to manipulate the public, shape its worldview and behavior, and determine its thinking. This situation increases the power of the media machine in the political field in which actors serve their own interests. The impact of the media could indeed influence and reorient a political process and even lead political forces to review their strategies, their means of action and their perceptions of reality; as for public opinion, which is always taken into account in the production of any media support, the influence of the media on its imagination has always been attested. To illustrate this important aspect of international relations, we will look at two cases of conflict; first, between Russia and Ukraine, then between Morocco and Algeria.
