Summary/Abstract: The authors are engaged in a bibliographic research work on a significant segment of the Romanian periodicals published during the interval 1990 to 1994. They have identified information on the paramilitary and civil resistance groups, on peasant and worker movements, as well as data on the seizure of organized groups, repression of revolts, inquires, trials and political confinement. The authors bibliographed a series of survivor recollections, interviews taken to former political detainees, memoirs literature fragments. biographical portraits, essays, studies. Given the subjective character, much of thé information included in the bibliography requires careful archive substantiation. One should also be prudent in selecting some of the statistical approximations advanced by the survivors or by some commentators of the resistance phenomena who did not have access to archive documents.
