Summary/Abstract: Within the scope of this study, ISO 50001 Energy Management System was established in the automotive industry. In this aspect, Energy Review (ER) and Energy Performance Indicator (EnPI) determination studies were carried out. By examining the energy performance of the facility for the last three years, determination and comparison of energy consumption performance predictions with the establishment of the ISO 50001 system are aimed. In order to determine the energy performance in the study, a regression analysis and EnPG determination study were performed, and a prediction model for the energy performance was predicted. In the multiple linear regression and EnPG analyses performed with the ISO 50001 EnMS setup, production-related and non-production energy consumptions were determined, and it was ensured to focus on losses. The results showed that 26% of the consumed energy is not from production. Based on these data, a loss system was created, and non-production energy consumption was reduced. When the energy performance indicators are examined, an annual decrease of 5% has been observed in the energy consumption of the facility since the establishment of ISO 50001. The most essential original aspect of this study compared to other studies is that it is analyzed with a full-scale study using scientific methods in sectoral practice. In addition, information about the difficulties and actions encountered in sectoral practice is shared in the study, and a similar study has not been found in other scientific studies.
