Summary/Abstract: Diaspora communities around the world strive to maintain a connection with their homeland through organization. The specificity of each community is that when immigrating to a new country, it tries to organize itself through cultural, religious, sports or other organizations that bear a national sign. In addition to the organization, there are also individuals who strive to help their country of origin through their advocacy and lobbying, while respecting the laws and regulations of the country in which they are currently located. The aim of the work is to present some of the largest diaspora communities in the world, which through their activism have a great influence on the socio-political processes in the countries they come from. This topic also belongs to the domain of international relations, because often diaspora communities, through various types of lobbying, are the main link between countries. During the work, based on the available sources, we will try to offer answers to certain questions in the context of the way diaspora communities are organized, and their general influence.
