Summary/Abstract: Preliminary results of comparative strength tests and anti-corrosion characteristics of original car body parts and replacements of these parts are presented. The results allow concluding about the suitability of some substitutes, and at the same time may be a prelude to the development of quality criteria for obtaining a certificate for release to service of replacements for body parts.
