From the observation of demonstrations

Summary/Abstract: Based on the observation of the demonstrations currently taking place in Europe, it is necessary to formulate some new research objectives which sooner or later we will have to deal with in communication studies. On the one hand, the multidimensionality of these demonstrations is intriguing; on the other, they are only a visible effect of a wider phenomenon. And since this is happening all over Europe, the issue is worth analyzing. Specifically, it is about what I would like to call the heterogeneous homogeneity (or vice versa) of today’s protest movements against the background of the homogenizing communication in antisocial media. But first, a few terminological remarks.
