Summary/Abstract: The author is assistant researcher at the Institute of History Nicolae Iorga. He works at the Doctrinal and Ideological Origins of the Political Evolution of the Iron Guard, a project sponsored by the National Institute for the Study of Totalitarianism. The study suggests a structural perspective on the foreign policy of the most controversial Romanian political movement between the wars. It gives a descriptive and explanatory model of the way the leaders and prominent members of the Iron Guard set themselves as political figures in international affairs.
