Summary/Abstract: Ion Spătan, Head of the Microfilm Department at the Library of the Romanian Academy, presents some samples of the visual means used by the Romanian Workers' Party in the campaign against well-to-do landowners. A special attention is devoted to caricature, an important propaganda instrument which undermined the prestige of the Kulaks in rural communities.
