Summary/Abstract: The article presents two issues: utopianism in the context of articles published in “Świat Młodych” and the rhetoric of these texts. Based on the assumption that rhetoric is a tool for examining our thoughts, the relationship between the aims of the magazine and the way of formulating press releases has been presented. Due to the fact that the phenomenon of utopianism is still poorly recognized in the Polish humanities, it had to be properly characterized. In order to show the dependence of the selection of rhetorical means and eristic techniques on the topics, problems and the addressee taken up in the journal, an analysis was made of sample articles that appeared in the journal in 1975–1985.
