A Tatar in Dialogue with the Cardinal

Summary/Abstract: In the late 1970s. Maciej Konopacki, a Polish Tatar, Muslim and publicist, entered into correspondence with Bishop (later Cardinal) Władysław Rubin. The exchange of letters continued until the mid-1980s. In the article we can find excerpts from the correspondence concerning, among other things, the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II and the illness and death of the Primate of Poland, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński.
