Summary/Abstract: Japan, an iconic country for the foreign creators of the innumerable accounts of it, is of ten described solely from the perspective of its extreme merits or faults. Such descriptions, classified by this author as careless narratives, are popular to the extent that most recipients of pop culture sources may even not pay attention to them. Some of the accounts utilize the careless narratives in a purely parasitic manner, to build the new, imaginary worlds. Kwiaty w pudełku (Flowers in a Box) by Karolina Bednarz is a representative example of such source.
