Summary/Abstract: The article depicts the question of translation errors found in the linguistic localisation of video games. A Polish computer game Książę i Tchór z (Metropolis, 1998) and its Russian version (Галадор – Проклятие принца, 7-ой волк, 1999) have been chosen to present the most important aspects of the aforementioned issue. Special attention was also drawn to differentiating between the notions of linguistic localisation and translation of video games, classifying crucial errors in this type of translation and their possible reasons.
