Summary/Abstract: The article speaks of problems of available research of the language and lexis of the first bilingual of Bosnian-Turkish Dictionary Makbuli-arif from 1631 and deals with other issues that were either answered by science, and have those answered treated again, or new answers are emerging and they need to be treated. The paper provides a statistical data on representation of word types, as well as a division of Bosnian lexems according to the criterium of spatial and time stratification, all based on transliterary versions of the Dictionary.
