Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses a model of representing loanwords from Austrian German in Bosnian in a specialized dictionary. The first part of the paper describes the basic principles of language contact between Austrian German and Bosnian – especially the question of adaptation on phonological, morphological and semantic level. The second part deals with two basic models of lexikographic describing of loanwords in the recipient language: an adaptation and an identification dictionary. We focus here on an identification model being a standard way of representing loanwords and foreign words in dictionaries aimed for a broader (popular) use.
