Summary/Abstract: Dialogue with other religious traditions represents the greatest chance of our times to enrich our own identity, not only the knowledge of the other. The author makes an assessment of the contributions made in this field. In the Romanian space and in the Orthodox space in general, there is not only a lack of serious research in this field, but also a great difficulty in Romania to constitute a market for the exchange of ideas.
