Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between hope and religiosity. As it is known, hope has an existential value for man. Because hope, which mediates the individual's recovery from negative life events without injury or minimal damage, can be affected by many variables. In this context, hope can be affected not only by psycho-social variables such as optimism and patience, but also by socio-demographic variables such as age, gender, marital status, socio-economic level and perfectionism personality traits. Another variable that can influence hope is religiosity, which has a psycho-theological origin. Because religiosity is an important source of motivation that feeds hope by its nature. This situation is thought to have important outcomes in terms of the mental health of the religious individual. This is one of the two main points of departure of this work. Another is to provide an awareness to the professionals who provide services to individuals with mental health problems that they can benefit from the power of their clients' religious beliefs so that these services can produce more effective results. In this context, the study was carried out by using the data of the researches that examined the relationships between the relevant variables. The results of the study show that, in general, the level of hope increases in parallel with the religiosity levels of individuals, which reflects positively on their mental health.
