Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to analyse the distinctive cultural texts of animated television serials "for children", in which characters (both human and animal) with intellectual, physical and social disabilities are subjected to manifestations of verbal, physical, financial, institutional, symbolic and other types of violence. Four correlating serials were chosen from a long list: All Hail King Julien, Penguins of Madagascar, South Park and Włatcy Móch. The microsocieties in these serials are a reflection of today.s social reality, which manifests itself in the depreciating, discriminating, marginalising and exclusionary stereotypes they spread concerning disease, disability and old age. These societies create social utopias where violence involving children and adults is common. This article is also intended for use in teaching.
