Summary/Abstract: We aimed to define the correlation between life quality in women after mastectomy and their age. Material and methods: We employed QLQ-C30 questionnaire to survey 100 postmastectomy females, 62 of whom belonged to the Amazons club. Results: Mastectomy affects life quality of females in all domains, social and professional life included. We proved correlations between constituents of life quality and age of women after ma-stectomy, most of which significantly affect life quality of women with age. Conclusions: Women after mastectomy hold unique experiences of surviving breast cancer, which hugely affects their lives, particularly the domains of everyday family chores, contact with other peo-ple and possibilities of pursuing a professional career. Age significantly influenced those parameters in our respondents.
