RESOURSES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXPRESSION-EXPRESSIVE APPROACH TO AESTHETICS AND ART – IN THE LIGHT OF THE CONCEPT OF EXPRESSION BY M. BAKHTIN, A. LOSEV AND A. BUROV

Summary/Abstract: The article considers a special approach to aesthetics and art developed on the basis of the coincidence in individual positions of different scholars in the field of scholar thinking. The author interprets this expression-expressive approach focusing on the discoveries in the humanities and natural science of the new time and on the combination of object and subject aspects of the aesthetic matters. At that, the terms "expressing/expressive" belonging to the European tradition and "expression-based, expression" introduced to scienctific aesthetics from the Russian language and folk aesthetic culture by outstanding scholars M. Bakhtin, A. Losev, A. Burov (1950s–1970s), are correlated and equated to each other. Aesthetic objects and phenomena are characterized as expression-based and expressive or their joint, and the works of art containing these aspects are also considered. The article presents the aesthetic analysis of fragments of the works of W. Shakespeare and G. G. Marquez.
