Summary/Abstract: The visual language of Rumen Skorchev in children illustration is a means and an instrument of reaching an educational and an upbringing effect- plain, comprehensible, without complex metaphors. The level of stylization of the characters is very high. They are led to clear, meaningful, highly-communicative images that ought to intrigue the interest of the child auditory.The visual language of the author is in a state of subordination to the aim –communication with the child auditory, achieving a high educational aspect in the area of literature and upbringing of a high aesthetic criteria and visual culture. The illustration transmits Rumen Skorchev to the world of literature and requires a precise consideration of the image, saturation with the content is every detail and sign.
