Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the theoretical issues of the new social media regulation in Poland. The proposed concept addresses a number of administrative and constitutional issues, but focuses on ensuring freedom of speech and expression and on the perceived or actual deletion of content (censorship) on social media platforms. This regulatory concept foresees the establishment of a comprehensive complaints handling and monitoring system in this area, with a dedicated administrative body, new legal instruments and a sectoral administrative sanction system. In this way, Poland is attempting to regulate social media platforms in the Member States, and the study of the system, legislative solutions and regulatory principles of this regulation could also be of use to the domestic academic community
