Summary/Abstract: Polish emigration in France has a long and glorious tradition, many publications have been devoted to its history and activities, but so far there is no broader systematic sociological research on it. At the end of 2019, a research project was launched with the main goal of exploring cultural and religious transmission in Polish Catholic parishes and pastoral centers in France. Polish pastoral centers in France are places that regularly gather the largest number of Poles staying there. The aim of this article is to analyze one of the sections of the survey of the pilot study conducted among Poles associated with Polish pastoral care in this country. The article will analyze answers to questions about the perception of the parish, identification with a Polish parish, motives for belonging to it, influence on the leadership of the parish and forms of involvement in it.
