Keeping Juveniles in Prison Between the Years 1928–1988

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issue of the system of detention of juveniles and its specific periods. This system has been changed between the years 1928 and 1988. Between the years 1928 and 1938 the system was stabilized but it was changed as a result of political and social changes. Between the years 1939 and 1949 the system was provisional and after that was replaced with a new system. This new system (1950-1960) turn away from historical traditions of treatment with juvenile offenders.
