Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of the research of the psychological structure of educational activity (PSAe) of university students in various theories and concepts of learning activities, professional development in the period of studying at the university, psychological foundations of educational activity of students, some aspects, components of PSAe, system approach. Based on the concept of educational activity by N.V. Nizhegorodtseva and general methodological principles of the concept of systemogenesis of activity (V.D. Shadrikov, A.V. Karpov, U.P. Povarenkov, N.V. Nizhegorodtseva and others) the psychological structure of educational activity of university students is represented, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of its formation which determine the level of their readiness to learn.
