A SITE UNKNOWS DATING FROM THE LATE BRONZE AGE FROM OARDA - "BULZA" (ALBA IULIA).

Summary/Abstract: In the south-east of Oarda locality (administratively belonging to Alba Iulia municipality) on the right terrace of the river Sebeş, from the place which the local people named "Bulza" (pict. I) there have been found, with the occasion of some surface diggings, pieces of ceramics characteristic to the Late Bronze Age, belonging to the cultural group Cugir-Band (plate I-III). For the chronology of the Late Bronze Age, in the middle basin of the river Mureş, see fig. 2.
