Summary/Abstract: The article presents the interaction between national law and European Union law, the dialogue that occurs on different levels of communication, as well as the state's responsibility for violating assumed obligations. The three aspects have at the center of the analysis the principle of loyal cooperation, the process of harmonizing national rules, the preliminary reference procedure, conflicting national law and the violation of European Union law in accordance with the supremacy of European Union law as a fundamental principle.
