Summary/Abstract: The construction of the main water supply system of Kolozsvár started in 1894. However, the laying and use of pipelines has been a source of many annoyances, which made the daily lives of the city dwellers troublesome. The study presents the inconveniences caused by the construction of the water supply system and how it affected the daily lives of the city dwellers through some contemporary examples.
