About (in)equality in the forwarding agency agreement

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to analyze the legal provisions and practices regarding expedition contracts in order to observe whether they provide the necessary prerequisites in abiding to the principle of the equal treatment of parties and whether the client/ comittent can really anticipate the consequences of his manifestation of willingness to enter into an expedition contract. An analysis of the legal means available to the client in maintaining a balanced contract is also necessary and shall be shortly adressed in this article.
