Summary/Abstract: Violence against women has always been present throughout history at the level of society. In time violence was observed and learned as a behavior that was transmitted from generation to generation, causing multiple victims. This article covers the importance of issue of domestic violence through psychosocial and intercultural approach, but also importance that formal social support has in the society and in abusive relationship.
