Summary/Abstract: The author devoted the paper to the one of three functions of language, which A. Furdal called as communicative, emotional, and symbolic. Paleolinguistics is the field of research, which cannot exist as not open linguistics. The author analyzes developing of a communicative role of Church Slavonic language in the A.
