Summary/Abstract: This article aims to examine Christian, Muslim, and Buddhist stereotypes that are widespread among Polish speakers. The data was collected through conducting psycho-semantic research among 60 students of the Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. The stereotypical images of the representatives of the three most widespread religions in Poland were recreated using the guided association technique and a questionnaire. The paper contains both numerical and semantic analyses of the results, a comparison of Christian, Muslim and Buddhist stereotypes, the conclusion about the dependence of the respondents' religion on their answers, and a proposal of methods for carrying out further research.
