Summary/Abstract: The study conducted on the sample of 7783 large- and medium-sized Polish enterprises (Central Statistical Office survey 2008-2010) reveals a positive and statistically significant impact of a product, process, marketing and organizational innovation on international competitiveness of those firms, measured by the sales of goods on EU market and exports to other markets. The strongest impact of the product innovation on firms export involvement reflects the growing importance of differentiation-based competitive strategies of Polish firms.
