Summary/Abstract: The article is about the name of the highest mountain top in Bulgaria and on the Balkans. The names the top has had (or is supposed to have had) are reviewed. An analysis is made of the name Lyubot(r)en which the top had before the Turks came to the Balkan peninsula.
