Summary/Abstract: This study attempts to cast the profile of an important poet of the contemporary world. It is argued that Salah Stétié is one of the poets who fit into the aesthetic emblem of the current French lyric. It is emblematic in terms of altitude, depth, creativity, expressiveness and openness to the French culture of recent centuries.
