Summary/Abstract: Our article refers to the language used especially by teenagers within the virtual environment. Nevertheless, this language is slowly making its way into our everyday lives. A significant proportion of these expressions, most of them being acronyms, has been officially acknowledged by linguists and included in various dictionaries, precisely to facilitate the comprehension of these abbreviations by amateurs in the online environment. It has practically come to the emergence of a new type of language, which is used by young people and which the adults cannot understand. This is cyberslang.
