Summary/Abstract: Vladimir Nikolaevic Benesevic discovered a text in several manuscripts of the Old Slavic editing of the Kormcaja kniga. This text is about the Roman calendar as it has been since it was reformed by Julius Caesar. More specifically, it is about the characteristic Roman way of indicating the days of the month by referring to the dates kalendae, nonae and idus. Benesevic intended this text for the second volume of his edition of the Old Slavic Kormcaja kniga. Unable to foresee when this volume would appear, Benesevic decided to publish at least the most important thing he had to say about this text in the form of a short article, which appeared in 1925.1 More than 40 years later then Jaroslav N. Scapov himself published a larger part of the text based on a newly discovered manuscript of the old Slavic Kormcaja. (Reserarch-Text together with an obituary for the Author, Koseph Sonderkamp)
