Summary/Abstract: Through this study, we want to make a brief presentation of intersexual disguises in Ovid´s Metamorphoses. The intersexual disguises allows the beings to escape from the historical time, realizing a totalization of their own being for a short period of time. In this study we will notice the oscillation of Tiresias between the primordial elements. By dividing two snakes, he will turn into a woman, and after he meets again with the two snakes he recover his previous element. We will make a brief presentation of the legend of Hermaphroditus, who joined his body with the nymph Salmacias, becoming a being who is neither a man nor a woman. Throughout the text we will notice a multitude of metamorphoses as well as intersexual disguises such as: Iphis, Cynus, Achilles, etc. We will also notice the metamorphosis in certain flowers. Flowers are a spiritual center, and their different colors have a certain symbolism. We will present Hyacinthus transformation into a purple flower and the transformation of Adonis into pasque flower. Narcissus will love his double reflected in the water. Water becomes a mirror through the double takes place of the being. Through this study, we will also try to represent the metamorphoses and disguises of certain beings, these having a totalization of their own beings.
