THE BLUE NOTEBOOK OR THE EXIT FROM THE UN-TIME

Summary/Abstract: The publishing of the Blue Notebook represents the recovery of a destiny deflected from the communist regime. The limitations and horror of a totalitarian regime determined him to find his exegetical mask of speech by mediators, who allowed him to write about his own beliefs, about theologians and philosophers who were not accepted by the political regime, enabled him to re-write the literary work of other authors. The diary does not have only the mission to tell about facts happened during a period of time, but it unveils the wise Balotă, reveals the deep truth which stands at the basis of his critics. The Blue Notebook offers ways of decyfring the text of the Transylvanian reviewer, obliging us to read again, from this point of view, his texts during that epoch before 1989. The essays, the religious meditations and philosophical thoughts presented in this notebook build the critical vision of the exeget, thus the challeges of his review belong with the ability of the reader to identify the specific autoconfession, even though he writes about others.
