Summary/Abstract: The Musical heritage is viewed with the understanding that what has been accomplished by previous generations is a memory that we can measure up in order to express ourselves in musical forms through which we enrich and develop the musical culture of society. The text presents the musical heritage as part of the memory, history and musical culture of the community. Knowing and assessing the values of musical heritage and culture is the main goal of teaching music as a part of preschool and school education.
