Summary/Abstract: The development of professional competence includes the development of the creative personality of the teacher who benefits from the latest knowledge and technologies. In the present educational context, the activities of teachers and learners are changing dynamically. The functions of the pedagogue are changing, too. From a source of information he is becoming a coordinator who manages the learning process. In the active approach to learning teachers play a lead role relying on interactive technologies and partnership strategies. A certain business style of negotiation and communication prevails in the teacher-student interactions. This approach aims to enhance the individuality of the skilled professional.
