Summary/Abstract: I had promised a long time ago to give a presentation on whether there is cancellation and censorship in Estonian literature,1 when the topic suddenly became topical. In March, the rewriting of reprints of well-known literary works was discussed in many places: Tauno Vahter spoke in the cultural newspaper Sirp,2 Indrek Koff and Krista Kaer spoke on Vikerradio led by Maarja Vaino.3 A newspaper article about the rewriting of reprints of Agatha Christie was also published,4 as they have been published in the past about the works of other authors. .
