Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of research into the heuristic possibilities of the body in modern phenomenology and epistemology, which provides an opportunity for a broader understanding of rationality, namely, to pay attention to the phenomenon of bodily rationality. The author emphasizes that bodily rationality must be evaluated as one of the components in the toolkit of modern phenomenology, and claims that the cognitive meanings of bodily rationality open up new options for seeing and describing problems in ethics.
