Summary/Abstract: Is it possible a place of objectivity, fairness and balance in a world of polemic journalism? It's hard, if not impossible, for the writer. Just as it is difficult to make a clear distinction between cultural genres and other journalistic genres. Media analysts, like José de Broucker, ignore the subject, while others, like Michel Voirol, see cultural genres reduced to a single type of text: criticism. However, there are genres of cultural journalism, texts with a special style, depending on the medium in which they appear, daily press, on line journalism, cultural magazine etc. The public of cultural journalism is a special one, with a level of training that imposes on the written text a certain demand for a particular structure of the discourse. In this article, I will stop on the debate (round table), a distinct cultural genre, reflected in the daily press.
