Law of Ukraine on National Minorities (Communities) – Content Analysis

Summary/Abstract: On December 13, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law “On National Minorities (Communities) of Ukraine”. The law establishes the concept of "national minorities (communities)", the rights, freedoms and obligations of persons belonging to national minorities (communities), the specific features of the state policy aimed at the realisation of the rights and freedoms of persons belonging to national minorities (communities). The study analyses how well the legislation meets these requirements.
