ANALYSIS OF THE STATE OF THE CURRENTLY OPERATING JUDICIAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the frequent cases of irregular summoning of case parties in a regional court due to their emigration and other summoning problems, as well as the deployment of information technology in court buildings in order to secure the citizens‘ interests, raising their awareness of judicial procedures, improving communication between the court and citizens, obtaining real-time information on the case schedule and ongoing cases, improving and accelerating citizen services and reduce their stay in the courthouse, effective management of human flow in the building. The necessity of electronic summons and e-justice in the Republic of Bulgaria is argued.
