Summary/Abstract: The following paper aims not only to identify and justify the meanings behind the elements regarding impermanence, encapsulated in Mihai Eminescu‘s poems, but also to clarify and testify that the content of all poems subsequently draws and traces step-by-step the most important events, feelings and transitions that have occurred in his lifetime, creating therefore a vital biography of one of the most talented writer of all times. The state of lasting for only a limited period of time has always obsessed Eminescu and that is the reason behind his poems‘ intricacy. When reading Eminescu we encounter key-elements that once understood can enlighten us. Albeit his universe may loom incomprehensible at first, his poems promise to summon thorough ideas by bringing the reader in the middle of the action and giving him the opportunity to carve and to sculpt the meanings behind the words.
