Summary/Abstract: The paper documents the use of aerial archive photograms, large scale topographic plans (1: 5,000), visibility analysis performed on the 10 m resolution European Copernicus Digital Elevation Model and the UAV based 3D Digital Surface Model from the summer of 2021 of a presumed Roman burgus on the territory of Racoviţa commune, Vâlcea County, East of and in direct relationship with the Limes Alutanus Roman castra of Copăceni (Racoviţa) – Praetorium I – and Racoviţa – Praetorium II.
