Summary/Abstract: The study offers a series of ideas regarding the reference work “Peles Castle. The Museum and its collections ”, edited by Narcis Dorin Ion, General Director of the Peles National Museum, which presents the history of Peles Castle in Sinaia, the summer residence of the kings of Romania, which was built at the request of King Carol I of Romania (1866 – 1914). The author focuses on the collection of heritage objects in the museum, combines the history of Peles Castle with the description of protocol spaces and more, which are described with many details of construction and decoration.
