Summary/Abstract: With this paper we propose to reconstitute the course of evolution of the relations between literature and linguistics from the moment of the emergence of the F. Saussure's theory of language and until the stage of creating the model of discourse analysis. Thus, within a periplus of more than half a century among the orientations, currents and researchers, we will consider three decisive moments: the postulation of the saussurean theory of language, the structuralist method and the emergence of the theories of enunciation, which have substituted structuralist imperialism with that of discourse.
