Organizational culture and innovation in a public hospital

Summary/Abstract: The development of management theory and practice shows that innovative changes are essential in modern organizations. This is particularly true for hospitals that change continuously for years bringing together modern medicine development and scarce health care resources. This publication is an attempt to determine factors enhancing proinnovative organizational culture shaping. The analysis of literature leads to a conclusion that the main factors of proinnovative culture are organizations’ strategy and structure, creativity and activity of staff, customer orientation, information technology, communication process and trust.
